Encounter more Meltan in Pokémon GO—and until May 5, maybe even Shiny Meltan!
Starting Wednesday, April 24, at 1:00 p.m. PDT, it'll be even easier to get your hands on the Mythical Pokémon Meltan in Pokémon GO. The waiting period to open the Mystery Box will be shortened to three days! Plus, beginning at the same time, Shiny versions of Meltan will appear once again in Pokémon GO until Sunday, May 5, at 1:00 p.m. PDT. If you obtain a Shiny Meltan, you'll be able to evolve it into a Shiny Melmetal if you gather 400 pieces of Meltan Candy in Pokémon GO.
Remember that to get the Mystery Box in Pokémon GO, you'll need to connect Pokémon GO to your Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee!game for Nintendo Switch. Open the Mystery Box in Pokémon GO to cause Meltan to appear for a limited time.
