Pokemon Scarlet and Violet 7-star Tera Raid Samurott Event

The upcoming 7-star Tera Raid event in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will feature Samurott, which has been announced to have a Bug Tera Type. This new Mighty Samurott Tera Raid will be available for a limited time, from March 31 to April 3, 2023, and then again from April 7 to 10, 2023. Players will need to strategize carefully, as Samurott's Bug Tera Type makes it weak to Flying, Rock, and Fire type attacks, but its original Water type suggests that it will have water moves, which could prove dangerous for players bringing Rock or Fire type Pokemon to the fight.
The 7-star Tera Raids are exclusive timed events in which players can fight and capture special Pokemon that are not normally present in the Paldea region. Previous 7-star Tera Raids have included Charizard, Cinderace, Greninja, Pikachu, and Decidueye. Samurott was introduced in the Pokemon Black and White generation of games, which were released in Japan in September 2010 and globally in March 2011. It most recently appeared in 2022's Pokemon Legends: Arceus, where it gained a Water/Dark Hisuian variant.
It is worth noting that the previous 7-star Tera Raid, Decidueye, also appeared as a starter in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, where it gained a Grass/Fighting Hisuian variant. This has led some players to speculate that the next Mighty Tera Raid could feature Typhlosion, the remaining third starter in PLA.
Finally, it is important to remember that a patch is currently being developed for the Walking Wake and Iron Leaves event, which will reappear at the end of April 2023. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available on the Nintendo Switch, and players should mark their calendars for the upcoming Samurott Tera Raid event.
